Ms Suntola is a long-term professional with wide experience and references from both the public and private sectors within creative economy development.

She was the initiator and Project Director for Creative Industries Finland (CIF), which soon became the main national network for creative economy development in Finland. CIF was founded in 2007 as coordinator for the “Development Program for growth and internationalization of creative entrepreneurship 2007-2014, an ESF –program directed by the Ministry of Education and Culture in co-operation with the Ministry of Employment and Economy.

Her work in the music business as producer, engineer, author and entrepreneur provided her insight and understanding of challenges and opportunities especially within the content industries.

n furthering discussion between policy-makers, developers and educators and entrepreneurs, aiming to advance a fertile operating environment for a thriving creative economy and society.
