Safa Sharif has a wealth of knowledge in entrepreneurship and accelerating small businesses, having experience managing the operations of a range of start-up organizations. He specializes in leadership best practices, cross-cultural communications and has a wide experience in the market dynamics of Middle East, Africa and Pakistan and connections.
Safa currently serves as board director for MASY International, a company based out of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia that he founded back in 2003 to service the construction industry. In addition, Safa co-founded Nafayes Company, a historical auction organization geared at reviving Arabic and Islamic heritage and been active in facilitating M&A deals helping Bahraini companies exit and/or expand to Saudi Arabi, facilitating strategy sessions for companies and bridging companies with a vast pool of consultants via WSI Consulting.
His most recent ventures include working on the Board of Directors for Bahrain Aluminum Extrusion Company (BALEXCO) and serving on the Board of GEN Bahrain and the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Bahrain.
Is an active member leader of the entrepreneurs organization. He has lead the region as a regional chair and his chapter as a president, he has since then been very active in launching chapters in Middle East, Africa and Pakistan, helped launch the EO Accelerator program in Bahrain and has since seen a great impact on the lives of Bahraini business owners and lead the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA)in the region and in Bahrain.
Has participated as a judge in the EWC ‘Entrepreneurship World Cup’ qualifying round, CBC Creative Business Cup ‘Denmark’ finals, GSEA Global Student Entrepreneurs Award Global Semi Finals, Injaz Bahrain finals and Mashroo3i Bahrain Finals.
Safa is an EO certified Strategy Summit Facilitator working with Boards to align them on their strategic priorities, success metrics and actionable Plan.
